I AM YOUR FATHER

This is a one-page TTRPG. It is random-less and math-less: uses no dice and no numbers. And yet, it provides tools for tactical play. It is versatile, intended to fit pretty much any setting.

So how does it work? It focuses on the concept of secrets, used for:

• Conflict resolution currency, which is something very needed in a dice-less number-less game.
• That currency is not you-have-it-so-you-win, it has more subtle effects than that, while still remaining very important.
• Drama tool, where players wonder what secrets other players know, and where the player gets to shout "I know what you did last summer!" in a tense moment.
• Something that motivates players to ask more questions, to investigate more.
• Something that motivates players to be more discrete and careful about their actions.
• Motivation for more PC-PC interactions: knowing secrets about team members can allow to provide assistance to them in critical moments.
• Motivation for the GM and for the players to come up with colorful details and backstories for characters, every time when a new secret needs to be invented about a PC or an NPC.
